Balboa Reservoir news, including upcoming open house event

From SF Planning, regarding upcoming Balboa Reservoir Project events.

We would like to remind you that the next Balboa Reservoir CAC Meeting will be held on Monday, April 9th, 6pm at the City College Multi-Use Building, room 140. The development team will be providing updates based on feedback heard to date. The agenda (PDF).

We would also like to announce that on April 20 and 21, the development team will be hosting open house events in the neighborhood. Community members will have the opportunity to learn more about and offer feedback on the housing, open space, and public amenities in the development team’s refined base case plan. The open houses will take place Friday, April 20 from 2-6pm and Saturday April 21 from 10am-2pmat the 1100 Ocean Ave Community Room (in front of Unity Plaza right next to Philz Coffee).

And finally, we would like to update you on the Balboa Reservoir fiscal feasibility process. On March 27, the Budget & Finance Sub-Committee of the Board of Supervisors considered the Balboa Reservoir project’s fiscal feasibility and recommended approval. On Tuesday, April 3, the full Board will vote on this item, and if they approve it, the development team is allowed to submit their environmental review application. The April 3 meeting starts at 2pm in City Hall Room 250 (agenda here); however, it will not include a public comment period specific to the Balboa Reservoir fiscal feasibility.

We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events!
