June 11: Earthquake Safety Fair

From the San Francisco Department of Building Inspection (DBI):

JUNE 11, 2019 AT 10AM – 4PM

WHAT: San Francisco residents, property and business owners are invited to the Department of Building Inspection’s (DBI) Annual Earthquake Safety Fair on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. This free public event will take place from 10am to 4pm at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, 99 Grove Street, just across from City Hall and easy walking distance from the Civic Center MUNI and BART lines.

Last year, DBI hosted over 80 exhibitors — ranging from contractors, design professionals, financial institutions, government agencies and community partners; provided five informative workshops about building, earthquake and accessible business storefronts; hands-on emergency trainings and brought over 600 attendees to learn and benefit from the all-day building safety event.

This event will provide property owners the opportunity to meet with various City agencies, contractors, design professionals, and financial resources to assist them with their building permit and earthquake safety questions.

Exhibitor registration is now open. Contractors, design professionals and other construction related service providers are invited to register to become an exhibitor at this event. There is no fee to participate. Space is limited, so register today. First come, first serve. Participants will be provided a table and two chairs. We are unable to provide power so please plan accordingly.
