On the agenda: Update from President Ken Hollenbeck on the new trees for Sunnyside. Adrian Leung, Bikeshare & Bike Parking Program Manager, SFMTA, will speak about possible locations for third bike-share station in Sunnyside (more below). The Detroit Steps Project team will report the latest news on the Steps. Then SNA will hold its biennial election (details below). Meeting ends with the our customary raffle. More on the election of officers: SNA members are eligible to vote and/or run for office. Nominations for all offices are open currently, and will remain open until actual vote during meeting. Due to Covid, “in-person” voting will be virtual. Candidate statements will be sent to members before the meeting, and will be on the ballot during the meeting.

More on the new bike-share station: Adrian Leung says “Leading up to the 12/17 MTA Public Hearing, the SFMTA heard from residents and Supervisor Melgar; they wanted to find a better bikeshare station location in Sunnyside—possibly some place on the Hearst Slow Street. Bikeshare Program Manager Adrian Leung will be here to collect location feedback, and also to answer questions about Bikeshare.”
